The greats are known for their accomplishments, their willingness to help others, and their ability to disrupt industries while doing good and collaborating with others like them sharing known strategies for ensuring success. Can you name a great that hasn’t had amazing accomplishments? No, of course not. Can you think of any great that didn’t change the way something was done? They are all game changers. The true greats, however, aren’t content with just changing the world—they share their successes so others like them can advance.

Nothing inspires me more than surrounding myself with people who have achieved greatness and getting around those people. I’d encourage you to seek to make new friends and new connections, just make sure you are reaching up—not sideways and not down. Don’t just be friends with a banker in your town—make sure you know the most successful banker in your town, and the most successful lawyer, the most successful insurance guy, the most successful businessperson, the politically connected. And then keep reaching up. Know who is called the most successful Realtor in your city or the guy your city newspaper calls “entrepreneur of the year.” These are the people who must be in your network.

I want to be connected with the greats—the best of the best. One of the reasons I’m holding 10X GrowthCon is because I want to put together a conference I want to attend myself. I want to tell you about some of the greats today that I’ve invited to this event and how they are sharing their successes for your profit.

He is a legend at uncovering hidden assets, overlooked opportunities and undervalued possibilities.

Jay gives back by sharing his advice with hungry entrepreneurs ready to go big. If you have the ambition and drive, Jay is looking for a person like you to help you become massively successful.

Les Brown

Les is a world renowned legend, an international superstar speaker who has influenced the lives of hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Fortune 500 CEOs, small business owners, non-profit and community leaders from all sectors of society have sought out Les for inspiration.

If you’re looking to get to the next level, Les wants to give you some value. He will tell you things are possible because he followed his dreams and knows you can follow yours. Les has been studying the science of achievement for over three decades and wants to bring out the greatness you have within you.

Tim Grover

Tim is world-renowned for his legendary work with elite champions and Hall of Famers, including Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and hundreds more. He’s the preeminent authority on the science and art of physical and mental dominance. Tim is all about taking the best people and making them unstoppable. I’m not talking about taking the average and making them great—I’m talking making great into legendary.

Tim is ready to help you if you want to go all out for your full potential. The only thing you will need to bring to the table is a commitment to your obsession.

Tim Storey

Tim is a big-time author, speaker, and life coach who is known for inspiring and motivating people from all walks of life—from Oprah to Charlie Sheen, from entertainment to executives, celebrities, and athletes, to adults and children in the most deprived neighborhoods in the country. Tim has visited 75 countries and has spoken to millions of people. Tim has battled and gone through some hard training coming straight out of Compton. Since he knows all about small beginnings but working through struggle, he now shows others they can do the same.

Tim is a great business man and can give you great value if you’re looking to better yourself and grow your money.

Danelle Delgado

Danelle’s one of those rare individuals who beat the odds to create something so unique she’s creating massive success all around her. As a single mother of three, the need for her to advance became a necessity to provide for her family. She dove into personal development to learn the ways, thoughts, and practices of the successful and worked to put them into action in her own life. She has built multiple six figure earning companies, done millions in sales and founded Life Intended which offers training today for all kinds of entrepreneurs.

Danelle believes life is not about success, it is about significance… and she is determined to advance all souls aching to make their dreams realities—including yours.

Gloria Mayfield Banks

Teacher, Trainer, Speaker, Mentor, Motivator, she’s truly a woman of many hats. A graduate of Harvard business school, she has set company records for Mary Kay, and now she wants to share with you what hard work and determination can do for you.

She came from an environment with men at the top, but she knew that she could operate in the good old boy network. She wants to show both men and women how sales is about being interested in helping others feel fabulous.

She’s a network marketing mogul, and she wants to share her massive success with you so that you can reach higher. Gloria loves being mentored and loves mentoring others.

I remember when I was much younger and clarifying what I should be obsessed with. I came to realize the following to be true, and I know that Tim Grover, Gloria Mayfield Banks, Tim Storey, Danelle Delgado, Les Brown, and Jay Abraham would agree with me on this:

Your Obsession Should:

  1. Improve the outcome of your life and others’ lives.
  2. Move you to reveal more of your potential.

So what is your potential? That’s a powerful question to keep in front of you because it inspires more questions, like “How much am I capable of?” “What do I need to fulfill my potential?” Continuing to reach toward your full potential is the kind of fuel that will allow you to avoid getting lost, complacent, and satisfied and dying prematurely.

Some other great questions to ask yourself include:

  • Who am I doing this for?
  • How many will benefit from this?
  • Who is a good role model for what I am attempting?
  • What can I do to help others achieve their purposes?
  • Who is encouraging me to live a life of purpose?

Start writing down what you want to do with your life. I wanted to make my family proud of me. I wanted to be proud of me. I wanted to be successful and wealthy, a respected businessman and someone who could help others. I remember once telling my mom when I was sixteen, “When I grow up, I’m going to get rich so I never have to worry about not having enough money. And when I do, I am going to help a lot of people.”

The first step in getting back on track to success is to help yourself. Nobody can start helping others until they’ve got their own life in order. I remember attending a charity event last year when a couple of hundred people showed up for dinner knowing they were going to be asked to give money. The target was two million dollars. As I looked around to see who could actually pay, I thought the target impossible. The room was filled with hardworking super generous people who had already given much of their money, even borrowed money, and many were volunteering their time. Some had done all three. I could tell they all wanted to do more, but they were just tapped out.

The last million was donated by one guy and, the audience was thrilled and amazed. People were crying, and proud we had achieved this vital goal of funding this worthy project. As I looked around, watching everyone celebrate, I realized there was not a person in the room who didn’t want to be the guy who gave the last million.

People who are able to give away a million dollars have first reached up, learning from the greats that have gone before them the strategies for ensuring success. After they’ve become successful, they collaborate with other like-minded people and give back, always looking to help others along the same path.

I want you to be at 10XGrowthCon. It’s March 17-19 and it’s an event you won’t want to miss. I want you to reach your full potential. There are some things you can’t do all by yourself—I know I couldn’t. You and I both need to network with the successful because there is always something new we can learn. Sometimes it’s just one sentence, one thought, that can completely change the direction of your life.

Let’s grow massive in 2017—together. I will see you in March.

Be great,

GC
