Every year almost all of America sets a New Years Resolution. In fact, I can remember doing this all the way back when I was a little kid. I remember jotting down some goals in a journal before going to church with my parents and wondering if those goals were going to happen. Often, they didn’t. You need goals before the new year gets here. Most of us wait until the night before to set our goals. I’m telling you, this is why they don’t happen. You cannot wait until the night before and expect it to go well. I know my goals well in advance and I’m already thinking about them weeks and even months before the year starts. I want to personally help you set MASSIVE goals for your life 15 or 20 years out. Once we do that, we can really set good goals and targets for 2018.

You need coaching. Coaching means that I am going to hold you accountable to your goals through numbers and metrics, I am going to provide you with information for you to self education on, and frankly I am going to call you out when you’re not operating at your highest capability. Most of us write out goals down in secret and mask it with a false sense of “humility”. What is actually happening is that person is ensuring they cannot and do not have to be held responsible for their outcomes.

You need community and network. You know how hard it is to try and diet when everyone else around you is eating junk, asking you why you’re not, and attempting to pressure you into having “just one bite”? You don’t need that. That’s why many of us fail. The people around us feel fearful and a bit threatened when they see us actually going for it. So they try to slow us down. You need a community of like-minded people who are on the same journey as you but at various parts; some ahead, some behind, and some right along with you.
